FEAR is organised by Fermanagh District Council in Partnership with seven of Fermanagh’s Emergency Services; Police Service Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, North West Mountain Rescue Team, Royal National Lifeboat Institute, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance and the North Ireland Ambulance Service.
To acknowledge their role in the organisation of this event we will be running a ‘Service’s Trophy’ competition as part of the event. Please indicate on your entry form if you are a Police Officer, Firefighter or Ambulance personnel – including Airport and Harbour/Port Police and Fire Departments or a current member of one of the following agencies: British Red Cross, Order of Malta, St John Ambulance, Coastguard, Mountain Rescue, Royal National Lifeboat Institute or Other Voluntary Emergency Agencies. This competition is open all Emergency Service organisations regardless of jurisdiction and is only contested as part of the long race.
To be eligible for inclusion in the Service’s Trophy Competition organisations must have a minimum of three entrants in the Long Race and the best three combined times will decide the winning Service.
